SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS LEADERS (SBL)

The Sustainable Business Leaders (SBL) program is Jackson Hole’s green business education, resource, recognition, and membership program, managed by Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling (ISWR) since 2007. TRN is Teton County ISWR’s community partner in managing the program, including sustainability education and enrollment for organizations. CURB-TO-COMPOST

A USDA subsidized partnership under the Composting and Food Waste Reduction Cooperative Agreements (CFWR) for Teton County ISWR (Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling) to collaborate with TRN for expanding commercial & residential composting in the county. Composting is a key way to divert up to 25% of our local waste and reduce methane and carbon emissions from transportation and landfills.

LOWER VALLEY ENERGY

Educating and engaging the community on the importance of being an informed energy Co-op member-owner. Conservation is key to lower prices, lower emissions, and a more resilient energy grid.

YOUTH OUTREACH & LEADERSHIP

Working with youth to elevate climate literacy, conservation, and citizenship. Our 2026 Youth Climate Futures Summit included youth from Wind River Reservation, Mountain Academy, Summit Innovations, Jackson Hole High School and Middle School and many local and regional organizations engaged in sustainability and climate-resilience work.

SUSTAINABILITY SERIES

In 2024, TRN partnered with Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities, Energy Conservation Works, and Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling to bring free sustainability workshops and events to the community. Sustainability Series highlights regional sustainability efforts with the intention of providing information and resources for anyone to add sustainability efforts to their life.

REPAIR CAFÉ

Modeled after the international organization Repair Café, the Teton Repair Café is a pilot program of Teton Resilience Network, working to keep treasured items out of the landfill while building skills and community along the way.

RESIDENTIAL HEAT PUMP GIVEAWAY

TRN helped to install two Energy-Efficient Electric Heat Pumps at a value of $20,000 in local residences in 2026 through our Give Away program.
